A Moon occultation of Saturn
Moon occultation of Saturn on Saturday 25th October, a tricky thing to observe as it occurs the Sun’s still up. The dark edge of the 2 days the Sun’s still up. The dark edge of the 2 days old crescent Moon covers Saturn around 5pm (British Summer Time). The planet of Saturn re-appears from behind the Moon’s thin crescent about one hour later and maybe easier to see, as this is shortly after sunset.
