Now they are a friendly group, with members of all ages and abilities – both followed by practical observing when they have talks, slide shows and practical demonstrations, workshops and observing sessions.

We could provide some telescopes, which are used on meeting nights and at public stargazing to demonstrate / teach astronomy to the people of Milton Keynes, Bletchley, Cranfield, Emberton, Bedford and the surrounding areas.

After this year it seems went well to merge UK Astronomy so
we start a new mainstream with UK Astronomy in 2017

at our new regular meetings are held at

2016 MKDAS & UK Astronomy (Friday 17th June 2016)

Searching the signpost for Messier objects after the great talks about Charles Messier, a few issues that we never known. Also thanks for the BSL signer and UK Astronomy were with us.

Derek helps Martin to understand how to target the Messier objects on the Star Atlas map.

Access Ambassadors was kindly donated for a BSL signer provided for us to access mainstream UK Astronomy. Without their support, we will be barred.

2016 MKDAS & UK Astronomy (Friday 9th May 2016)

Transit of Mercury – the smallest and fastest planet in the Solar System.
We looked through some telescopes & binoculars as a black dot at Mercury moving across the face of the Sun that we won’t see it again until 2019.

2016 MKDAS & UK Astronomy (Friday 18th March 2016)

On Friday 18th March 2016, we, (MKDAS & UK Astronomy) ran by amateur astronomers to dedicate by exploring and explaining the splendours of the Northern Hemisphere Constellations and all aspects of astronomy for both our members and the public through regular outreach – here a video-clip.
