Amateur Astronomy in Milton Keynes
Home of the Milton Keynes Deaf Astronomical Society, advancing the education of the public in the subject of Astronomy. MKDAS is a thriving deaf society located in Olney, near Milton Keynes. Come & join the 16+ members at one of our meetings or observing sessions.

Meeting
We meet at Emberton County Park, Olney Road, Emberton, near Olney. On the raining or clouds, we usually meet at the pub called Bell & Bear for talks. With a glorious night of stars we assembled at Emberton Country Park for observing the Night Sky.

Midlands Deaf Astronomical Society
In our programme on Thursday 7th March, we will visit to Spalding for talks, exchanging, experiences – Anyone is welcome!

British Deaf Astronomical Association
They provide their programmes for 2013 with six events and our members will merge with them into their six events to support each together this year – some of them are away for the day or one week.

Stars of the Pleiades
(Thursday 7th November 2013)

The Pleiades also known as the Seven Sisters, Messier 45, and other names by different cultures, is an asterism and an open star cluster containing middle-aged, hot B-type stars in the north-west of the constellation Taurus.
