Monday 7th – Friday 11th September 2026 (New Astrophotography Capture)
- I’m really pleased to share my latest astrophotography image, featuring (from left to right) NGC 1499 (the California Nebula), Messier 31 (the Andromeda Galaxy), Messier 16 (the Eagle Nebula), and NGC 281 (the Pacman Nebula).

A special thank you to Derek Rowley for taking the time to review my image and for his support, advice, and encouragement. His guidance has helped me improve my processing and get more from my data. Astrophotography is always a learning journey, and I’m grateful for those who generously share their experience along the way.

NGC 281 (the Pacman Nebula) is a bright emission nebula in the constellation Cassiopeia, located in the Milky Way’s Perseus Spiral Arm. I photographed it on 9 September 2026, capturing 22 stacked images over one hour. Derek then helped with the software to align the photos.
