NGC1893 is an open cluster in the constellation Auriga ~ a group of stars are relatively young, forming within a nebula like Tadpole, which is rich in gas and dust, providing the essential material for star formation. which is embedded in the Tadpole Nebula (IC410).

From 8pm, a few hours later till 1am on early morning of 10th January, the Moon occults several stars in the Seven Sisters star cluster (known as Messier 45 or The Pleiades).
