Two types of eclipses

There are two types of eclipses on the Earth;
solar eclipse and lunar eclipse.

Solar eclipse

The solar eclipse occurs when the Moon is positioned precisely
between the Earth and Sun.

Lunar eclipse

The lunar eclipse happens when Earth is placed precisely
between the Moon and Sun.

A total lunar eclipse is sometimes called a Blood Moon,
because of the reddish tinge the Full Moon takes on when fully eclipsed,
like my images, which was taken during the total lunar eclipse.
